Commenting as the First Minister re-launches the Scottish Water consultation, Liberal Democrat Finance spokesperson Jeremy Purvis MSP said:
"The SNP Government promised a Bill in this Parliament. It was to be the flagship legislation of the last year of the SNP Government, but it sunk before it was even presented to Parliament. There's no way there is time for this Bill to be passed by this Parliament.
"The consultation gives us nothing new. The Bill was hastily withdrawn and has now been re launched. The shambolic handling of a hugely important issue is another example of the SNP's incompetence."
