Commenting as the Justice Secretary warns the 'net is closing' on paedophiles as he paid tribute to the authorities involved in tracking down the men involved in Scotland's biggest paedophile network, Scottish Liberal Democrat leader Tavish Scott MSP said:
"Our Government must explain why this evil convicted paedophile was on the sex offenders register, but still abusing children.
"Our Government has to explain what it is doing to stop paedophiles abusing children when they're being monitored by a Government scheme.
"In this case the monitoring hideously failed and we need to know why. That is why I have demanded an explanation from the Justice Secretary next week."
